QMP: Platform Update#
With the Quantum Monitoring Platform (QMP), we offer our customers centralized logging, access to important metrics of their services (and clusters), as well as alerting for all services. For QMP, we rely on projects such as Loki (for centralized logging) and Cortex (for Prometheus-compatible metrics). Additionally, we offer our customers dashboards in our Console, as well as the ability to work directly with logs and metrics using Grafana.
The Update#
As part of this work, the Cortex stack was completely rebuilt and updated to the latest version. With the Cortex version update, stability improves. Through the new stack architecture, we have also increased the availability and scalability of the platform: we replaced the chunks storage of Cortex and now rely 100% on our S3-compatible object storage.
For our customers, nothing changes with this update, as we perform these measures regularly to continue ensuring the availability of QMP. And it also enables us to further develop QMP together with our customers in the future.
